I am a born and raised, multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, native, Upper West Sider, who is an elementary school educator bringing over 15 years of experience and dedication, to inspire every student, with differentiated, creative, student-centered learning experiences.
My approach focuses on building literacy, self-reflection and curiosity in all students, that engages and challenges the students intellectually. My strong background in the arts, as a former dancer, allows me to weave music, dance and painting throughout all subjects, for a fully multi-sensory, multi-faceted, connective learning experience. In providing a variety of learning tools with relationship building, and compassionate classroom management, I promote respect and equality, allowing students to become peaceful and constructive citizens of society and the world.
